Dianabol/Dbol is one of the very first anabolic steroids created for human use and is one of the most popularly used of all time.
While testosterone may prove to be the most commonly used steroid Dbol is a very close second. However, as is with many
steroids there are a host of myths and legends surrounding this popular steroid; while some of them may actually possess some merit
in part, on the whole these myths and legends are nothing more than misguided beliefs. The brunt of the problem lies within where
people get their information; many rely on common gym gossip and message board wonder boys and while some of these individuals have a solid grasp the strong majority are as lost as you. Don’t let this get you down; there is a lot of quality information out there
if you’re willing to educate yourself. To get you on your way we’ve listed some of the biggest myths and misconceptions regarding
Dianabol and left you with only the truth.
You’ll find these myths or statements to be very common; we’ve taken them from some of the most popular message boards on the internet
that focus on the topic at hand. While some of these will be outright lies, some will be truth in part but highly exaggerated.
Dianabol Myths and Truths
-Myth: Anadrol/Drol/Abombs is more powerful than Dianabol/Dbol.
-Truth: Milligram for milligram Dianabol is far more potent and powerful than Anadrol but the misconception still exists.
The reason the misconception exists is rather simple; the most common dose of Dianabol/Dbol ranges between 30mg-50mg per day while the most
common dose of Anadrol/Drol/Abombs is a minimum of 50mg per day and very commonly 100mg per day or even more. Most individuals will use far
more Anadrol/Drol/Abombs than Dianabol/Dbol and automatically assume the former is more powerful than the latter however, if you match the
doses up equally you will find Dianabol/Dbol to be far more potent.
-Myth: I can’t use Dianabol/Dbol because it causes me to hold to much water.
-Truth: It is true, Dianabol/Dbol can cause you to hold more water than you would otherwise, however in most cases individuals will use this
steroid when they are running a bulking cycle and eating an abundant amount of food. While eating large quantities of food they are taking in
excess amounts of carbohydrates; excess carbohydrates can bloat you and cause you to hold more water than anything else. Quite commonly those
who use Dianabol/Dbol during a bulking cycle automatically assume this is the reason they are bloated and completely disregard the excess
carbohydrates they are eating. Most of these same individuals if they only consumed the amount of carbohydrates they actually need and can
use would largely in most cases not fall prey to this watery problem; and to be on the safe side the use of a good aromatase inhibitor
along with smart eating will eliminate the problem altogether.
-Myth: Dianabol/Dbol is very toxic to the liver.
-Truth: As a 17aa steroid it is true, Dianabol/Dbol can have a toxic effect on the liver but the extent is more often than not highly
exaggerated. To begin, responsible use is and should always be the priority but so should an understanding of this toxicity level and
its end effect. By keeping doses and duration of use at a reasonable level in most all cases any increase in liver enzyme values will
return to normal shortly after use is discontinued. Further, although Dianabol/Dbol use will increase these enzyme readings, regular
alcohol consumption will do so in a far more pronounced manner. You may also find it interesting to note that many over the counter
medications you buy at your local pharmacy have a toxic effect on the liver; most oral medications do and many of these are upwards
of ten times more toxic to the liver than Dianabol/Dbol.
-Myth: When you come off Dianabol/Dbol you will lose all your gains.
-Truth: Think about that for a minute; you discontinue use and your lean muscle tissue just vanishes into thin air; on what planet
does that even begin to make sense? As discussed above Dianabol/Dbol can cause you to hold a little water and if you’re eating excess
calories, far beyond what is needed it will cause you to hold even more water than you would otherwise. Once use is discontinued some
of this water weight will go away but that’s not muscle tissue, it’s water weight; two very different things. If you use Dianabol/Dbol
and make some good gains, once you come off if you eat and train properly you by all means should be able to hang on to most all of the
gains you’ve made.
